McCadden, Lorraine

In Memory Of
McCadden, Lorraine

McCadden, Lorraine Marie

(1960 – 2022)

It is with deep sadness that her family announces the passing of Lorrie McCadden in Montreal, on April 15th, 2022, following her brave battle with cancer.  Lorrie was the cherished daughter of the late James McCadden, and leaves behind to mourn her mother Lydia (nee Carroll), and sister Elaine.  She will be greatly missed by her aunts Brenda, Bertha, Rena and Sr. Florence, as well as her many cousins, colleagues, and friends.

Lorrie worked as a legal assistant for Armand Kazandjian for most of her adult life.  She was fun-loving and generous, and maintained many of her childhood friendships.  She cherished her family as friends, and her friends as family.  Her love for all animals was boundless, but she had a special soft spot for her cats.

Her family and friends will be forever grateful to the Oncology Department team at the Royal Vic for the tender care administered to her in her final days.  Thank you also to Dr. Bouganim, nurse Anne, and the teams in the testing and chemotherapy departments at Cedars Cancer Center.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 28th   from 1 pm – 4 pm, and from 6 pm – 9 pm at Kane Fetterly, 5301 Bd. Decarie.  A funeral mass will take place on Friday, April 29th at 11 am at St Monica’s church, 6405 rue Terrebonne. COVID-19 protocols will be strictly observed at the visitation and funeral service.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cedars Cancer Foundation of the MUHC, or to the animal shelter of your choice.
