Auzat, Michel

In Memory Of
Auzat, Michel

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Michel Auzat, son of late Maurice Auzat and late Helene De Manche, in Montreal, on April 26th 2022, following his brave battle with cancer. Michel leaves behind to mourn his wife Lyse Marceau, his brother Maurice Auzat (Florinda D’Aprano), his brother-in-law Claude Marceau (Hélène Morin) and his niece Fanny Marceau. He will be greatly missed by other members of his family and many friends.

Michel was a man of passion. He distinguished himself as a professional, an instructor and an organizer in the world of hot air ballooning. He embraced the culture of Argentine tango, more specifically its music, and was a very successful DJ. He also mastered teaching skills in gemmology.

A celebration of life  will take place Sunday June 5th from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Kane Fetterly, 5301 Bd. Decarie

A free valet service will be available for parking.

Due to the pandemic, the family requires the wearing of a mask.

His wife and friends will be forever grateful to the palliative staff of Mont Sinaï Hospital and to the nursing staff of the Montreal Neurological Hospital for the care and respect administered to him in his final months.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one of the two hospitals :
